Nova Sport is a Belgian company based in Brussels. We build the platform that connects people with sport sessions, coaches, venues and each other, starting with the universities where many of us first fell in love with sport.
Our story
From one campus to a national platform
Nova Sport started with a simple observation on a university campus: the sports programme was excellent, but booking a session meant queues, paper lists and e-mails. Students gave up, sessions stayed half empty, and the sports service spent its days on admin instead of on sport.
We built an app to fix that one campus. Then a second university asked for it, then a college, then another. Today Nova Sport runs the sports programmes of 17 institutions across Belgium, with more than 200,000 users and 1.7 million bookings processed.
Every feature in the product exists because a sports service, a coach or a student asked for it: waiting lists, QR check-in, no-show rules, coach messaging, multilingual support. We ship improvements every week and our partners talk to the people who build the product.
The same engine now serves companies and municipalities. Our ambition is simple: wherever there is sport to be practised in Belgium, Nova Sport should make it one tap away.
